Welcome to FamilyLedger (the "App"). This Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how we handle your information. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting it with the highest standards.

1. Data Collection

This App does not collect any personal identification information. Specifically:

• We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other personal identifiers
• We do not collect device identifiers (such as IDFA, IDFV)
• We do not collect location information
• We do not collect browsing history or usage behavior data
• We do not use any third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
• We do not use any third-party advertising SDKs

2. Data Storage

2.1 Local Storage

All your financial data (including income/expense records, categories, budgets, and member information) is stored locally on your device. Data is managed using Apple's SwiftData framework and stored within your iOS device's sandbox directory, inaccessible to other apps.

2.2 iCloud Sync

This App offers optional iCloud sync functionality. When you enable this feature:

• Data is synced between your personal devices via Apple iCloud
• Synced data is stored in your personal iCloud storage space, protected by Apple's encryption standards
• We cannot access your iCloud data
• You can disable iCloud sync at any time in the App's settings

2.3 Data Export

This App supports exporting data to JSON or CSV format files. Exported files are saved to a location you specify and are entirely under your control.

3. Third-Party Services

This App only uses the following Apple native services:

• StoreKit: Used to process in-app purchases and subscriptions. Payment information is handled by Apple; we do not access your payment information
• CloudKit: Used for iCloud data sync (only after you enable it). Data is stored in your iCloud account
• UserNotifications: Used to send local reminder notifications (such as recording reminders). Notifications are generated entirely on-device and do not pass through any server

This App does not integrate any other third-party services, SDKs, or tracking tools.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share any of your data with third parties. The reason is simple — we cannot access your data in the first place.

• We do not sell data to advertisers
• We do not share data with analytics companies
• We cannot respond to government data requests (because we have no data to provide)

5. Data Security

Since your data is stored on your local device or in your personal iCloud, data security depends on:

• Your iOS device passcode/biometric protection
• Apple's iCloud security architecture (end-to-end encryption)
• iOS app sandbox mechanism (other apps cannot access this App's data)

We recommend enabling your iOS device passcode and iCloud two-factor authentication for optimal security protection.

6. Children's Privacy

This App is intended for general users and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since we do not collect any personal information, this App is equally safe for children to use.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

• Your data remains on your device until you delete the App or manually clear the data
• Deleting the App will permanently remove all local data
• Data in iCloud follows Apple's data retention policy
• You can export or clear data at any time within the App

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through in-app notifications or announcements on this page. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
